abstract

Even with the ever increasing Data Generated in the Higher Educational Sector, most of the colleges still use classic statistical and regression techniques for Decision Making purpose. Educational Data Mining (EDM) proposes various approaches to procure meaningful information and eventually knowledge which would greatly benefit the Higher Educational Institutes to Improve the function of their various activities. We intend to summarise the various applications of these techniques.

abstract

YouTube is has become a major source of learning across the world. YouTube provides creator analytics but it does not provide learner’s analytics. We seek to bring about a change in content consumption patterns by providing awareness about a learner’s consumption. Learner can also get notes in the form of a mind map and the best thing is that they are automatically categorized in different domains. The community mind map or the shared second brain could be used to foster interesting discussions, learning from one another and encouraging an overall curious atmosphere.
