abstract
Even with the ever increasing Data Generated in the Higher Educational Sector, most of the colleges still use classic statistical and regression techniques for Decision Making purpose. Educational Data Mining (EDM) proposes various approaches to procure meaningful information and eventually knowledge which would greatly benefit the Higher Educational Institutes to Improve the function of their various activities. We intend to summarise the various applications of these techniques.
